Doctrinal Beliefs:

We believe the scriptures, the Old and New Testament, to be the inspired Word of God, written by men as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. (2 Tim. 3:16)

We believe that God is a Trinity in unity, manifested in three persons--the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Matt. 3:16-17)

We believe that salvation is made possible by the work of Jesus Christ on the cross and that we are saved by grace. (John 3:16, Eph. 2:8-9)

We believe that God calls men and women to serve in the five-fold ministry and endows those whom He has called with gifts and abilities peculiar to that office. (Eph. 4:8-13)

We believe in water baptism through immersion, which is symbolic of our identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. (Matt. 29:19, Rom. 6:4, Col. 2:12)

We believe in sanctification as the work of grace in the life of the believer. (2 Cor. 3:18, 1 Thess. 5:23, Hebrews)

We believe in the ordinance of the Lord’s Supper. (1 Cor. 11:27)

We believe in the resurrection of the Just at the return of Christ. (1 Thess. 9:16-17, 1 Cor. 5:8, 2 Thess. 2:7)

We believe that in death without Christ a person becomes hopelessly, eternally lost, destined for hell without any further opportunity for repentance. (Heb. 9:27)

Ministerial Beliefs:

Family Core Values: We believe there is nothing more important than strong, united families.

Excellence: We believe excellence honors God and inspires greatness.

Relationships: We believe that loving friendships should permeate every aspect of church life.

Equipping: We believe in equipping the saints for ministry and life by helping them with their God-given doctrines.

Devotion: We believe that full devotion to Christ and His cause are normal for every believer.

Sound Doctrine: We believe that teaching doctrine should be based on the historical roots of Christianity that shaped the orthodox theology of faith. Sound doctrine is highly esteemed.

Character: We believe that character is more important than talent.

Evangelism: We believe that an effective church serves its community -- treating everyone with love, respect, and dignity.

Prayer: We believe in the power of prayer and that prayer makes a critical difference in all we do.

Worship: We believe that vibrant praise and intimate worship achieves an atmosphere of expectancy by bringing us into God’s presence.

Tithe: We believe in the Tithe, recognizing that the Tithe existed before the law, during the law, and after the law. Jesus Himself commended the Tithe. The Tithe is representative of our personal commitment to the Lord and is a reflection of our covenant relationship with Him.
